Our History

Levesque Well Drilling is a Maine family-owned and operated business with roots that go back more than five decades. Well drilling has been part of the Levesque family since 1971, and over the years, that knowledge has been passed down through generations with a strong focus on hands-on experience and doing the work right.

The company began in northern Maine, and has grown through years of hard work, learning in the field, and gaining a deep understanding of how water systems behave in Maine’s unique conditions. Well drilling is not something learned from a book. It comes from time spent on job sites, solving real problems, and understanding what homeowners need when it comes to dependable water.

Generations of Experience

The business became part of the Levesque family in the early 1980s, when well drilling became a full-time trade passed from one generation to the next. From an early age, family members learned the craft by working alongside experienced drillers, gaining practical knowledge that only comes from years on the job.

In the 1990s, family operations were combined, strengthening the business and expanding its reach. Today, that same experience continues to guide every project, whether it is drilling a new well or installing a pump system for a home.

A Move to Serve More Maine Homeowners

In 2017, Levesque Well Drilling expanded to Central and Southern Maine to meet growing demand. The move allowed the company to better serve homeowners who were waiting months for service due to a shortage of experienced well drillers in the area.

Even with this growth, the business has remained intentionally small. The work is still done by family, which allows for hands-on involvement, clear communication, and consistent quality on every job.

Proud to Be a Maine Family Business

Today, Kevin and Manon Levesque run the primary family operations, and you will find Kevin and their son, Brandon, on the jobsite every day. Brandon represents the fifth generation working in the family business.

The Levesques are proud of their roots and grateful to continue serving Maine homeowners. As a family business, they understand that the homes they work on belong to families just like their own. That is why they take responsibility for their work, stand behind what they do, and treat every customer with the same respect and care they would expect for their own household. They know how essential a dependable water supply is to everyday life, and they do not take that responsibility lightly.

We believe good work starts with honesty and clear communication. We take the time to explain what is happening, what your options are, and what to expect. Many customers tell us they appreciate knowing exactly who will be on their property and that their calls are returned promptly.

Our goal is simple. When we leave a job, we want you to feel confident that the work was done right and that your water system will serve your home reliably.
